I just found out about this conference and thought that I should publicize it here, although it is very early. In a year and three days from now the Third World Conference on Science and Soccer will take place in Ghent, Belgium. This conference is a spinoff of the World Congress of Science and Football, but takes place every two years (previous conferences were in London and Port Elizabeth). The conference will feature paper and poster presentations on a variety of topics from performance analysis to sports biology to sociology — all of it soccer-related.
The submission deadline is New Year's Eve 2011 so you have plenty of time to think of something to present. The conference fee is €430, so you might need plenty of time to save up that kind of money as well.
