In about 45 days I will be in London to attend the Leaders in Performance conference. I am looking forward to the trip for a variety of reasons, including the opportunity to network with potential clients and connect with my readers who are based in the UK or other parts of Europe.
To this end I would like to host a meetup at one of the pubs in central London sometime during my stay. I would like to have it on the night of the 5th or 6th, but I am not sure if there are social activities planned for either day at the Leaders conference. I don't have anything elaborate in mind; just a large place where we could have a couple of pints and talk football in general and analytics in particular. My preferences for a pub — other than one that's not tiny and wasn't torched — are for ones close to a Tube station. If you have a suggestion, let me know in the comments or by personal mail.
If you represent a business and you want to talk to me about my work and other related opportunities, I'm open to discussions between Thursday morning and Saturday afternoon but you will have to act fast. I am already scheduled to give a talk at one company in London and visit several others during the week, so my calendar is filling up. Direct all serious inquiries to [email protected].
If you're going to be at the Leaders conference, you can find me there — I believe the organizers have set up ways for attendees to arrange meetings with each other.
