Pythagorean table for 2010-11 Spanish Primera Division (2010-10-23)

Below is the Pythagorean table for La Liga — the Spanish Primera División — through the eighth round of the championship.  Standard statements apply.  Levante and Sporting Gijón were tied on points and head-to-head tiebreakers, but Sporting had a slight advantage in the Fair Play table, which gave them the higher league placing.

And how about Espanyol — quite the anomaly with a negative goal differential but in fifth position!
