Pythagorean table for 2011-12 Serbian Superliga (2012-03-25)

I received a request from a reader to produce a Pythagorean table for the Serbian Superliga, so here it is.  The table is for matches played up to 25 March, and the league Pythagorean exponent is 1.70.

Serbia’s top league is a Partizan-Red Star league.  Both teams have won all of the league titles since the league was formed five years ago, and all but one of the titles in the old FR Yugoslav First League.  The Pythagorean table reflects the gap between the Belgrade giants and the rest of the league.  Vojvodina could have been more of a contender if they didn’t draw so many winnable games, and Rad appears to have underperformed as well.  I don’t know Serbian football that well, so perhaps my reader can say whether the table matches his impressions of the league.
