Will give lightning talk at PyData Atlanta December meeting

I’ve agreed to give a lightning talk at the December PyData Atlanta meetup next week.  I will be talking about the use of the lifelines Python library to perform survival analysis, and I will be using my study of the MLS draft as an example.  I have a hard five-minute limit, so don’t expect to see too much detail; I just want to demonstrate some features of this library and get the data science community in Atlanta interested in exploring it.

The next meetup will be next Wednesday, 14 December, at 7pm at General Assembly’s Atlanta offices at Ponce City Market in Midtown.  There is a cap on attendees, so you’ll have to RSVP at the Meetup site and the General Assembly site.

I look forward to seeing you there.  I will post slides of the talk by Tuesday evening.
